[ She leaves a few gifts outside doors, after port.

First, for Charles, a Cheshire Cat that she won in an arcade game. They saw Alice in Wonderland for the first time together. Cheshire was always Raven's favorite. She doesn't leave a note. She suspects he'll know it's her.

For Alex, a blue furry monster, from something called Monsters University. It reminds her a little of Hank. This one is an impulse; she just leaves it by his door, unable to think of anything to say in a note.

For Erik, she leaves several vials of metal glitter. This one has a note: Thought you might find this fun. - Mystique ]

[ Which is kind of a stupid thing to say, but she hadn't even really thought about it, either. Alex is a friendly guy. - Sort of. It makes sense. ]

Do you think that because that other self did those things, you could be capable of it as well?

[Now that is an interesting gift, and he nearly knocks it over when he first goes to leave his room. Instead, he floats the vials into his hand, and bends to pick up the note. his mouth quirks a little to see how she signs it, and he heads back into his cabin to grab his communicator.]

[He's note entirely sure what he's supposed to do with glitter.]

[He stops, irrationally hurt by the tenseness. He's not sure how to move forward with this, and awkwardly reaches for something to say.]

Maybe. But that's not - that's more reassuring. What's worrying is that I don't know the reasons - because I can think of reasons I'd do all of those things, in certain circumstances.
