Did you know we have an ice rink?
[ Because there is one! And Raven pans the camera around to see: yes, ice, places to sit around the ice, everything.
When she refocuses it on her, it's apparent that she looks slightly different from usual. She has dark hair, for one. And, for another, her skin is a subtle shade of green. ]
I didn't!
It's in the annexe.
Someone come skate with me.

spam!
[Considering you're wearing pajamas around like all the other Earth people.
Skates found, he discards his boots and cape and sits down to lace them on.]
spam!
I'm Raven.

[He stands and wobbles a little, then frowns. Maybe it's been too long, and he shouldn't be doing this. He picks his way over to the ice anyway and immediately has to grab the railing to keep from falling over.]
Son of a bitch!
[He glares at the ice like it's personally offended him.]
spam!
I can pull you, if you want? It's easier to stay balanced when you're moving.
[ She offers a hand. ]
spam!
Can you?
spam!
[ And it's easy to pull someone on ice anyway - there's not much resistance. ]

C'mon, we'll stay next to the railing. [ She pulls, gently, a slow acceleration. He's a lot heavier than her, but they don't need to go fast. ]
Point your feet a little bit outward, like this. Like you're taking steps.
spam!
Careful.

ugh i used the wrong form of lets :c
If I fall I'm taking you with me.
[More of an observation than a threat.]
it happens :(
[ She shoots him a grin, switches around so she's next to him. ]
Imitate how I do step - like this.

As soon as she moves, he grabs the rail again. He knows how not to fall down, and it's holding on to the wall.
He does as she shows him, though, albeit slowly so he doesn't need to let go.]

[ She's never had to go without it, except for that one little flood where they ended up on the planet's surface. ]
You're doing really good!

[Until he can do this without help, it's not good.]
Who had the idea to put blades on shoes to move over ice anyway?

[ She giggles, at the memory. ]
I don't know. It's used for a lot of sports now, though. Hockey. Figure skating, and ice dancing.

[ She lets go of him, and accelerates quick, moving around in a sweeping, agile curve. Going backwards part of the way. (NOT SHOWING OFF totally showing off.) ]
See?
[ She reaches out for his hand again. ]

I'm not a fast person..

[If that's sarcasm, it's so dry it's difficult to tell.
He pushes off the wall into a stiff glide, and seems to be staying upright pretty well until he runs out of momentum and topples onto his butt.]

You do have to take steps, to keep moving. I mean - don't be as stiff. It'll help.
[She offers a hand to help him up, even though it's halfway likely that it'll just pull her down.]

It takes a few tries.]
